When you enter your course page for the first time as a teacher, you will find the above interface or its similar. You need to review these templates and decide on which template to use and apply to your course. You can click "Use template" button of each template to apply it to your course.
Template 1: default course
This course template is almost empty. It allows teachers to create a new course from scratch using the topic format. This template comes with the following elements at default:
- A tip label showing available tutorials on using the template courses (Teacher needs to manually delete it before the course launch)
- A YouTube video (Teacher can delete or edit it)
- BigBlueButton video conferencing activity (Teacher can delete or edit it)
- A block showing who is the teacher. (Teacher needs to update this block manually)
The template course can be previewed here.

Template 2: Google Classroom redirect
This template acts like a placeholder for courses hosted on Google Classroom. It is a simple page that lists the invitation link to the course on Google Classroom. This template comes with the following elements at default:
- A tip label reminding students that this is a course redirect page, and teachers on how to find the invitation link to their course on Google Classroom. (Teacher should manually update the content before the course launch)
- An invitation link to Google Classroom. (Teacher needs to manually update it so that the link points to their own course)
The template course can be previewed here.

Template 3: Google Classroom replacement course
This template course is perfect for those teachers who want to keep functions offered by Google Classroom but stay teaching inside Gikadai LMS. Functions include Google Meet, Google Classroom assignment, and directly inserting files from Google Drive.
The template course can be previewed here.

Template 4: creation-based learning
This template course follows the CLEAR (create, learn, extend, apply, and reflect) instructional design model.
Check out the details about the CLEAR project, which developed the CLEAR model.

Alert:
Once a template is selected, there are two situations to proceed:
- If you still have not added any content to the template course, you can change the template (see the screenshots below).
- If you have added content to the template course, you cannot change the template. If you do, all your added content will be lost.
Proceed to find out how to change the template.
