This is to connect GIKADAI LMS with Google meet. It links to an existing Google Meet room as a course resource and after the meetings make available to the students the recordings, saved in Google Drive. As a student, you still need to log in to your TUT Email (offered by G suit by Google) to access the meet room.
Once set up correctly, the student will see a button like below. Clicking the button will bring the student to the Google meet address.
Once the meeting is recorded, the teacher can synch the recording from their Google Drive into this page.
After that, the students will be able to see the following page.
The same Google Meet room can be used as the online classroom, where the lecturing meetings take place on regular basis. Each time's recording will be synched as a different file under Recordings on the page.
